Marib: The Education Sector in Marib Province launched agricultural activities programs for public schools for the 1448 AH academic year, as part of the province's cultural and skills development programs.
According to Yemen News Agency, the launch took place in the Sirwah District and was attended by Education Sector official Ali Al-Zaydi. He stated that the initiative, implemented in partnership with the agricultural sector, aims to promote agricultural development and tree planting.
Al-Zaydi emphasized the significance of school gardening and tree-planting activities in strengthening students' connection to the land. He noted that such initiatives help foster a culture of production while contributing to environmental protection.
Speakers at the event stressed the necessity of raising students' agricultural and environmental awareness. They highlighted the importance of supporting community efforts to enhance food security by expanding green spaces.
